Darcy Diver a second year student midwife on the BSc Midwifery programme was invited back to Northwest Regional College (NRC) in Londonderry Northern Ireland to talk about her experience and her journey from college to University.

Darcy completed an Extended Diploma in Health Sciences at NRC prior to being accepted to study midwifery here at UWS.
Darcy said

“I thought Highers and A Levels were the only way to get into University, then I found this course. I loved it and it prepared me so well for University”

Darcy recently delivered her 10th baby and is looking forward to being a fully qualified midwife.
