Health and Life Sciences 2019 Research Symposium

David Thompson

The first official research symposium of the new School of Health and Life Sciences took place in Lanarkshire Campus on 30th May 2019 and proved to be a dynamic afternoon of exciting “90 second elevator” pitches of ongoing and early-stage research.

Seventeen representatives, from postgraduate students to professors, from all three research institutes, shared ideas and stimulated discussion amongst the assembled group. It is wonderful to see how research is growing and bridging diverse disciplines within the School.

Special thanks to the organising committee: Drs Laura Forrest, Daryl Cowan, Constantina Papadopoulou, Elaine Stewart, Farah Jaber-Hijazi & Kiri Rodgers

Certificates of Commendation were awarded by the Dean to: Angela Beggan, Kimberly Black, Jordan Donnelly, David Thompson and Drew Wallace.
