Online Enrolment will open on Monday 12 August 2019 for all CONTINUING students who receive Proceed decisions from the June PABs. Eligible students will be able to access the enrolment system from 09:00 am on that day.
Note that continuing students who are going through August PABs (those who participated in a Term 3 module or who had an outstanding resit to complete will be able to access enrolment from 23 August 2019, when they will be eligible to enrol once they have received an email informing of the PAB decision, then a second email informing them that the system is now open for them to enrol.
If you are a Doctoral College Student, the timing of your enrolment has still to be confirmed.
NEW STUDENTS will be allowed to access the enrolment system on certain dates allocated for their School:
FOR School of Health and Life Sciences that is from 21 August 2019
Please note that enrolment for new students will be a two stage process. The first stage involves the student completing the enrolment process in the online system. Once completed, these students will appear in School enrolment figures e.g. in the Dashboard and will be available for staff to split into tutorial groups, allocation of personal tutors etc.
The second stage is the verification of their enrolment by confirming their identity. Students will be required to provide photographic ID. Once their enrolment has been verified, confirmations of enrolment will be sent to external bodies such as SAAS and SLC as appropriate. If a student does not complete this second part of the enrolment process, staff should contact those students to establish if they intend to complete their enrolment.
New UKVI Tier 4 students should bring in their passport and visa for checking to their campus from week commencing 26 August 2019. This check must take place before the students can enrol.
Continuing UKVI Tier 4 students should attend a ‘sign-in’ session, week commencing 9 September 2019; at this time their passport and visa will be checked. These students will be able to complete enrolment prior to this check.
New students will be able to have their ID checked and collect their ID cards at locations as follows
Ayr Campus: From w/c 26 August 2019 in room GT27 – 10:00 to 15:00
Dumfries Campus:From w/c 26 August 2019 in Student Link – 10:00 to 15:00
Lanarkshire Campus: From w/c 26 August 2019 – 10:00 to 15:00. Location will be signposted
London Campus: From w/c 2 September 2019 – 10:00 to 15:00. Location will be signposted
Paisley Campus: From 21 August 2019 – 10:00 to 16:00. P123/125
Note: that if you upload a photograph during enrolment, you will be able to collect your student card 24 hours later
Distance Learning Students are not expected to attend a campus to have their ID checked; in addition their ID cards will be posted to them once a photo is supplied
