HLS Staff Hold First Golf Invitational

Colleagues from across the School of Health and Life Sciences came together for the inaugural HLS Golf Invitational on Tuesday 19th June 2019.  The event was hosted by the Fereneze Golf Club, Barrhead and we were welcomed by Craig Haugh the club’s golf professional.  This event was a great opportunity to meet colleagues from across the school.

The colleagues faced a rather cold and windy June day at the Fereneze Golf Club included Helen Rainey, Robin Freeburn, Simon Carr, Chris Easton, Drew Wallace, David Meir, Daryl Cowan, Michael King, Bryan Mitchell, U. Chris Ugbolue and Brian Johnston.

The team competition was won by Drew Wallace, Daryl Cowan, Brian Johnston and Chris Easton.

The overall competition winner was Robin Freeburn.  Congratulations Robin.  Good luck in defending the title at the next event.

The event was a great success and everyone had an excellent experience.  We will hopefully be planning a future event and anyone interested in being involved can let Brian Johnston or Simon Carr know.

Robin Freeburn; our First Overall winner
