Dementia and Multi-species Caring Event

On May 28th of April in collaboration with Dr Nick Jenkins, Julie Garton (NHS Dumfries & Galloway), Dr Louise Ritchie and Dr Anna Jack- Waugh held a workshop funded by the British Society of Gerontology (BSG) Titled 
'Dementia and Multi-Species Caring: Current Practice & Future Possibilities'.
The event attracted 60 attendees including Maple the Goat, Tessa the Tortoise and Uno the Dementia Dog not to forget Fin the Fish and his many friends.

Heather Clements, a PhD student within the School also presented her work on fish in care homes as part of the event.
