The UWS Care Experienced Group are taking part in a presentation and screening of their new documentary “Understanding Care Experience” which is aimed at helping others to understand what the university can do to provide better support for care experienced people. The screening will be on Wed, 17 April 2019 between 13:30 – 15:00 at our Paisley Campus
Delivered by Who Cares? Scotland, the presentation raises awareness of the difficulties that children and young people face in the current “care system”. It highlights the challenges faced and gives an insight into what is missing from the system.
The aim of the event is to raise the profile of the Care Experienced journey and to help address the challenges that Care Experienced Individuals face. This will provide invaluable learning for ALL STUDENTS and will be especially beneficial for those looking to work within the Health and Social Care sector.
This event will also be video conferenced to the following locations
