The call for abstracts has opened for next year’s Learning, Teaching and Research Conference on Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th June 2019 at UWS Lanarkshire Campus.
Bridging Boundaries: Connecting Learning, Teaching and Research, will explore the linkages and connections between research and enterprise, and learning and teaching.
There will be an exciting programme of presentations, workshops, microtalks and posters based around the four conference themes:
- Assessment and feedback
- Digital learning
- Research-informed teaching
- Meeting societal challenges
The University particularly welcomes collaborations between staff and students.
The call for proposals is now OPEN. More information on the themes, as well as a link to our web-based conference management system EasyChair, is available on the conference website. Please note that, if you don’t already have one, you will be required to create an EasyChair account to submit an abstract.
The deadline for all proposals is Monday 4th February 2019 and you will be informed of the outcome by Friday 15th March 2019.
As in 2018, postgraduate and doctoral research students will play an integral part in the conference. There are a variety of ways for students to participate in the conference such as poster presentations and via the Three Minute Thesis.
