New Collaborative Research Projects in New South Wales, Australia

BelindaAustralia1Professor Belinda Dewar has spent the last two weeks New South Wales, Australia setting up two new research/enterprise projects that will together secure funding of around £120k.
She is pictured above with Professor Virginia Skinner from the Centre for Nursing Research and Practice Development, Nepean Hospital, Kingswood, who she will be working together with on a collaborative research project. The project, funded by New South Wales Health, Australia, will explore what an excellent student midwife experience looks like and aims to develop practice that can enhance this.
Professor Dewar and colleagues are also taking forward an exciting new appreciative inquiry development with Bundaleer, an accredited Residential Aged Care provider that operates a Retirement Village, Residential Care across two sites, as well as Consumer Directed In-Home Care, Respite packages and the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in Wauchope New South Wales. The partnership will explore what matters to people who live, visit and work there, what they value, and try to develop with the users and the service what a positive future looks like.
