In 2016, Moira was also recognised as a Fellow of the Leadership Foundation for Higher Education.

Professor Craig Mahoney said:

“Moira champions all dimensions of the HEA Fellowship framework. Not only has she positively contributed to student learning experience in the institutions in which she has worked but also nationally and internationally as a practitioner, mentor, manager and leader.

Moira has an exceptional academic and professional record of achievement and is a leading medical educator with an outstanding international profile. She is well connected internationally through her medical and science work and has been pivotal in pedagogic advances across several countries.
