The Alzheimer Scotland Centre for Policy and Practice, based within our School on the Hamilton Campus is delighted to announce that Anna Waugh is joining the Centre as a Lecturer in Dementia.

Anna is already well known to many of our staff and students as a Mental Health Lecturer based in Dumfries and has been instrumental in helping the school deliver the very successful NES/SSSC National Dementia Champions Programme, the aim of which is to support the development of champions to act as change agents in improving the experience, care, treatment and outcomes for people with dementia, their families and carers in general hospitals and at the interface between hospital and community settings.

Anna brings a wealth of experience in dementia education and working collaboratively with people with dementia and their carers to advanced dementia practice, education and policy.
