Year 1 students brought a burst of colour, a sprinkle of glitter and an abundance of health-related education and advice to the humdrum of a cold winter Monday morning on Ayr campus this week. Hard work, creativity and academic skills were displayed on the posters that adorned the walls of GT 33 as part of the Foundations for Health module.
The flipped classroom approach to the module in this trimester encourages students to have an increased responsibility for their learning as part of the workshop preparation required for weekly classes. The high standard of poster presentation and increasing levels of confidence resulted in a lively, informative and highly interactive day for year 1 students and the teaching team.
There are also similar displays at Hamilton … but no pictures! Are Paisley and Dumfries the same? Send more examples please!
