Inverclyde is developing a public health approach to palliative care called Compassionate Inverclyde that our School is supporting. This exciting programme aims to:
- Raise awareness about death, dying loss and care.
- Enlist communities in caring for their own family, friends, neighbours and strangers at the end of life at home or in a hospital. (Compassionate Citizens/volunteers).
- Improve personal well-being of individuals living in Inverclyde across any setting.
- Promote compassionate policies within local businesses.
To find out more, join the Compassionate Inverclyde board at the official Launch of Compassionate Inverclyde on Wednesday 1st March 2017 between 09:30 – 11:30 am.
The event will be held at the Beacon Arts Centre, Custom House Quay, Greenock, PA15 1EQ
