The School is hosting its inaugural Student Research Conference on Friday 4th of November 2016 and would like to invite all senior BSc students, MSc, PhD and ProfDoc students within the School of HNM to come along and hear about the research which is taking place within their School and have the opportunity to meet with their peers and network with staff and students.
The research conference will be opened by the Vice Principal & Pro Vice-Chancellor (Research & Enterprise) Professor Eshan Mesbahi and chaired by Alzheimer Scotland Professor of Dementia and Assistant Dean (Research & Enterprise) Professor Debbie Tolson. The keynote speaker will be Professor Mike Nolan who is Professor of Gerontological Nursing at the University of Sheffield.
The morning sessions will consist of students within the School of HNM presenting posters and talking about their own research studies in small groups. The afternoon will consist of a plenary session where MSc and PhD students will share their own student journey, their experiences of research and becoming a post graduate research student. The day will conclude with a prize giving ceremony by Professor Debbie Tolson.
