Our annual Student Mental Health Conference is being held at Paisley Campus on Wednesday 31 August 2016.
The 6th annual conference, entitled ‘Care, Cope, Connect’, is being organised currently by the third year UWS Mental Health Nursing students based at the Paisley Campus.
The event is held at one of the University’s four campuses each year, bringing together Mental Health Nursing students from across all the campuses.
It is anticipated that the event will be attended by over 150 delegates, which will include UWS Mental Health Nursing students, academics and other mental health professionals from across Scotland.
Mhairi Black, MP for Paisley & Renfrewshire South and Linda Hall, Lead Professional Nurse Advisor, NHS GG&C will deliver keynote speeches at this event.
UWS Mental Health Nursing student Amy Delaney, who is a key co-ordinator of this event, said: “We are delighted by the positive response we have already received to this conference as well as the quality of keynote speakers who have agreed to participate in this important annual event.”
