The School’s Midwifery course has come top in the UK for overall student satisfaction in the National Student Survey (NSS) 2016.
The survey saw 100% of survey respondents studying Midwifery courses state that they were satisfied overall with their course.
The University also had the same notable esuccess with its Aircraft Engineering, Community Education, Forensic Science, Sport and Exercise Science Programmes. Overall the University also recorded an increase in student satisfaction – up to 87.1% from 85.8% last year.
Principal and Vice-Chancellor of UWS, Professor Craig Mahoney, said: “These are very positive results and demonstrate the progress being made as we aim to deliver a truly transformational experience for our students. The most important people at UWS are the students and it is extremely gratifying to see that the hard work being put in by all the University’s staff, from administrators to lecturers, is paying off. I’m proud of everyone who has contributed to these encouraging results.”
