The School held its first careers fair for all students at Paisley Campus on Monday 13 June 2016.
Over 400 students from across the School attended the event which ran from 10am to 3pm in the University’s Brough Hall.
This event saw 30 exhibitor groups from across all parts of the UK and Ireland in attendance, including NHS Scotland, nursing agencies, national and local government agencies, and private healthcare providers.
Cate O’Kane, an Adult Nursing Lecturer at paisley who helped organise the event said: “We were delighted by the positive response we received from our students to this event, which provided them with an excellent opportunity to meet prospective employers and gather information on careers.”
Early indications are that the outcome was extremely positive with possibly as many as 150 students securing jobs on the day.
