On Tuesday 17th May 2016, staff from the School of Nursing Health and Midwifery at Paisley Campus welcomed 4th and 5th year pupils from St Andrews Secondary School in Glasgow.
The pupils came to gain a perspective of nursing and an insight into nurse education. They experienced the dementia tour, sim man and watched venepuncture as well as some fundamental nursing skills in particular handwashing. Pupils really enjoyed their experience and we may see some back in the near future applying for a place on our BSc Nursing courses. Many thanks to Joan Irwin and Laura Johnston for arranging the visit.
