International Nurses Day is celebrated around the world every May 12, the anniversary of Florence Nightingale’s birth. So if you are a Nurse or a Nursing Student take some time out today to celebrate and acknowledge just how important you are as part of the professions that makes up the single largest group of health professionals in the UK.
You should also take a look at what the International Council of Nurses Message for today and shre that message where you can. The theme they picked for this year is Nurses: A Force for Change: Improving health systems’ resilience.
