Celebrating Leading Better Care in Lanarkshire



Leading Better Care; an initiative which emerged as a direct consequence of the Senior Charge Nurse (SCN) Review in 2008, which has as its focus the critical role that SCNs, Senior Charge Midwives (SCM) and Team Leaders (TL) play in the clinical leadership of their teams as they try to ensure high quality, consistent patient care, are having an end of programme celebration event, which will showcase the array of work that has been done as part of the LBC Collaborative Programme between NHS Lanarkshire and the School of Health Nursing and Midwifery at UWS.

The event is being held from 9am until 1pm on 31 March 2016 (including lunch) in the Caird Building, at the UWS Hamilton Campus and will celebrate the Leading Better Care journey, incorporating four key themes:  Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professionals (NMAHP) Selection, Induction & Development; Staff Development; Quality & Care Assurance; and the Research & Development evidence that has been produced.

Join us in reviewing the amazing range of projects that have been undertaken and celebrating the efforts of all those involved who have contributed to this programmes many successes.
