On Thursday 13th August from 12.30 onwards the Alzheimer Scotland Centre for Policy and Practice are hosting a series of free public engagement activities supported by a grant from the Carnegie Corporation of New York. The events will take place at the Caird Building in Hamilton. The first of these events is a series of mini-lectures and workshops looking at Dementia in the Workplace. A half-day programme of mini lectures and information sessions has been planned. For more details about this event visit the following website http://uws-dementia-in-the-workplace.eventbrite.com Although the event is free you must book in advance at the Eventbrite site that you access using the event information. We are particularly keen that community/voluntary/carer groups and local/small businesses come along to these events and the Centre have asked staff to share this information among their wider networks.
Please note that UWS staff and students are also required to book a (free) place via Eventbrite for catering purposes and to monitor the numbers attending.
